As part of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) annual conference, APAP|NYC+ 2022, five exceptional young classical music artists and ensembles will be showcased on our online conference platform,
Swapcard. These artists are part of APAP’s long-standing Young Performers Career Advancement Program (YPCA, pronounced "YIP-kah"), celebrating its 26th year in 2022.
In addition to being showcased at the conference, the 2022 participants—Gabriel Martins, Balourdet Quartet, Francisco Fullana, Dominic Cheli, and SooBeen Lee—are receiving business training in the performing arts industry and guidance for navigating the next steps of their careers. The up-and-coming musicians were chosen through a competitive process by a team of industry experts on APAP’s Classical Connections Committee.
