Since the beginning of the pandemic and through the many challenges we are collectively facing, APAP is focused on deepening our year-round service to our members and colleagues in the field and to addressing the evolving needs of the performing arts presenting, booking and touring industry.
Driven by our mission to support performing arts professionals and the field as a whole all year long, we aim to bolster the annual conference experience with a growing set of year-round programs focused on Community, Commerce, Learning, and Discovery.
As we deepen these efforts to serve the performing arts community throughout the year with timely programming and networking opportunities, we are shifting how we will develop year-round and conference programming.
We recognize that during these times, we need each other 365 days a year.
In order to provide robust and responsive year-round programming, APAP has engaged a year-round programming committee comprised of peers in the performing arts field. Throughout the year, APAP and the committee will be reaching out to members and colleagues in the field to identify the topics, issues, speakers and manner in which they want to access information, support, and professional development.
To support this work, we are asking our community to complete a short survey to help us develop timely programming for the next few months, as well as topics to be addressed at the January conference. This feedback will shape both year-round priorities and conference plenaries and professional development.
While we welcome ongoing feedback,
the deadline to take the survey is June 1, 2022. Image Caption: ELI session at APAP|NYC 2020 (Adam Kissick/APAP)
