APAP launched Season 4 of its award-winning podcast on June 17, 2025 with Episode 1: Trailblazers. The new season will feature 22 bold, untold stories across six episodes that will be released biweekly from June 17 to August 22, 2025.
The fourth season will spotlight stories from dancers, musicians, and theater professionals, and street performers. It also includes artistic directors, arts marketers, venue managers, music therapists, arts educators, artist managers, and those who make arts more accessible.
Season 4 storytellers are:
Episode 1: Precious Perez, Lydia Abarca Mitchell, Magdalene Minnaar, and Yura Sapi
Episode 2: Jason Laws, Ami Minars, Kiearn Bailey, and Dot McDonough
Episode 3: Sonia Clark, Karen Hairston-Franzel, Juanita Anderson, GregRobin Smith
Episode 4: Kersee Whitney, Laurel Lawson, Chad Harper, and Angelica McCarthy
Episode 5: Julian SIlva, Jeff Corle, and Sam Simon
Episode 6: Julie Opiel, Dumi Ndlovu, Alex Ketley and Bill Clark.
ARTS. WORK. LIFE. launched in June 2022 and went on to win a Trendy Award for Best Podcast in 2023 and a BRONZE award Anthem Award or podcast or audio in the Education, Art & Culture Category in 2024. In addition to those above, the podcast has featured the stories of 43 other performing arts professionals.
