The Association of Performing Arts Professionals has introduced a new membership option called the Individual Performing Arts Professional (iPAP) membership for those who may not be affiliated with an organization/company. We believe that, as performing arts professionals, we need each other now more than ever.
Performing arts professionals are stronger together, the APAP staff have been working hard to provide access to
vital information and resources to help our fellow arts professionals.
You can also take advantage of our
year-round benefits and services.
APAP's new Individual Performing Arts Professional membership (iPAP) is for anyone working in the performing arts who wishes to maintain their own membership (and may not be affiliated with or working for an organization or business).
Are you a gig worker, freelancer or independently employed? In transition or a recent graduate? Between full-time positions? This membership is for you! It’s more important than ever before that everyone feel welcome and part of our community.
Following the APAP|NYC 2025 conference and in preparation for meeting the year-one milestones of APAP’s five-year Sustainability Plan, the APAP staff will have a "purposeful pause" from February 3-28, 2025 in order to rest and reset. The membership join process for individuals and organizations will not be available during the pause. Those interested in joining APAP as a new member can indicate your interest here, and you will be contacted by an APAP team member in March.Don’t forget APAP continues to offer our Artist Access membership for individual artists at a very affordable rate –
you can learn more here.
We want you here, and we are here for you!
Please reach out to a team member if you would like to discuss joining APAP as a new member and which membership type is right for you.
