The APAP Board of Directors process is now open through July 31, 2025. APAP Members are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague for this leadership service opportunity.
As the national service organization for presenting, booking, and touring, APAP serves thousands of performing arts professionals. APAP Board Members ensure that APAP has the infrastructure and resources to support performing arts leaders, now and into the future.
APAP Board Members get to shape national arts policy and are recognized as a leader in rebuilding America’s cultural infrastructure. The APAP Board is a high-impact circle of leaders who aren’t just working to supporting the arts of today. They’re directing where it goes next.
APAP is looking to fill up to seven Board seats in this next cycle.
APAP encourages nominations of individuals with the following attributes:
• Advocacy Experience
• Board Governance Experience
• An Entrepreneurial Mindset
• Fundraising Capacity and Connections
• Legal Expertise
• Non-Profit Management Experience
APAP aims to have a Board that reflects our membership, multigenerational representation, and wide-ranging geographic representation from across the U.S., North America, and the globe.
While APAP welcomes all nominees, in an effort to balance the current board composition, we are seeking leaders who represent:
• Large Agencies
• Commercial Presenting Organizations
• Small to Mid-Sized Presenting Organizations
• Artistic Organizations
• Outdoor and/or Festival Presenters
• Canada and Mexico
