The APAP Emerging Leadership Institute (ELI) is an intensive two and a half-day seminar that takes place during the pre-conference of the annual APAP|NYC conference. Each year, APAP invites a new cohort of approximately 25 individuals with 3-7 years of experience to participate in this program where they will learn about leadership and then take that knowledge and apply it first-hand.

Eligible participants are in the first 3-7 years of their career in the presenting and touring field who are either APAP members or employed by an active APAP member organization. ELI includes but is not limited to individuals that are performing artists, presenters, managers, agents, producers, creative directors, arts managers that work for arts councils, or service organizations.
