Dan FrootDan Froot is a Bessie Award-winning performance artist who has collaborated with such artists as Yoshiko Chuma, Ping Chong, Dan Hurlin, Ralph Lemon, Guy Klucevsek, and Victoria Marks. He and choreographer David Dorfman, created “Live Sax Acts,” a series of interdisciplinary duets they have performed on five continents. His current project, “Pang!,” is a triptych of short radio plays based on oral histories of families living with hunger in Miami, Cedar Rapids and Los Angeles. He is a Knight Foundation Artist In Residence at Miami Light Project, and teaches creative process and business of the arts at UCLA.
